Using the service
By using Free Photo Editing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. The current browser editor is free to use and does not require an account.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights to the photos, designs and other content you open or create. We do not claim ownership of your files. You are responsible for having the rights or permission needed to edit, use and share source images, templates, fonts, logos and exported results.
You may use the editor for personal or commercial work, subject to applicable law and the licenses of your source materials. Using this editor does not grant rights to third-party content.
Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully. Do not use it to infringe others’ rights, distribute unlawful material, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to its infrastructure.
Keep originals and save your work
Editing takes place in your browser. Save state or Ctrl / ⌘ + S stores a manual snapshot in the current browser; the next visit restores that saved snapshot. There is no cloud backup or automatic saving. Browser storage may be cleared or run out of space, so export a separate backup before closing or refreshing the tab. Keep original files and check exported images and PSDs before relying on them.
PSD support is partial. Fonts, layer styles, masks, blend modes and smart objects may render differently, and some document features may not be preserved on export. Device memory and browser limits can also affect opening, editing and downloading files.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility, accuracy or suitability for a particular purpose. Features may change or become unavailable.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the service, including lost edits, damaged exports or interruption of work. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Third-party services and trademarks
External links and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Free Photo Editing is independent of Adobe and other editors mentioned on this website. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Our Privacy Policy explains local file processing and website requests.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The revision date appears at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
